Researching and representing the boat form reveals aspects about the circumstance and condition of the traveler, and the nature of the passage undertaken. A journey over water by people inhabiting boats also alludes to dislocation, uncertainty and anxiety - states experienced by many in present day situations.

Studied University of Technology, Australian National University and College of Fine Arts University of New South Wales Exhibiting in group and solos since early 1990s most recently in the Blake Prize and at Charles Hewitt Gallery, Manly Museum & Art Gallery and as a touring exhibition . Undertaken residencies here and abroad including Darwin, Chile and Tokyo.
